BIOMAS Workshop

On Friday, April 14, 2023, the Workshop of the Environmental Monitoring of Brazilian Biomes by Satellites Project – BIOMAS was held at the Fernando de Mendonça Auditorium, INPE.

The event presented the methodologies, results and technologies developed in the project that is financed by the Amazon Fund, with management by BNDES, administration by Funcate and coordination by INPE.

The event received 170 people and 958 followed the event through Youtube, with representatives from the Ministry of Environment, INPE, BNDES, FUNCATE, project team, partners, collaborators and master’s and doctoral students.

Brazil Data Cube, a subproject of BIOMAS, presented its results, advances and the partnerships it has been developing with EMBRAPA, IBGE and other INPE projects, which have used software products and data as inputs for their activities.
